Review on ๐ŸŽฎ Halo 4 Limited Edition Xbox 360 Bundle by Muhamed Hogan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best buy a Halo fan can make.

This is my first Elite console but my second is a 360. I have a Launch 360 that still works and I will use it for comparison. I know the sounds and the great looks so I'll skip that and go to what they don't show. The first thing I noticed after a short time was noise or its complete absence. My old Xbox sounds like a jet plane, like the Dreamcast if you remember them. This new high-end console ONLY plays the sounds programmed for Halo 4. It's a bit lighter than the old 360 though, as it has a translucent body. Nothing flashy so far, but subtle if you catch a glimpse of its beauty every now and then. This won't affect gaming but may be noticeable when watching movies on a smaller TV. The controllers offer a vastly improved wireless experience with new rotating D-Pads. The feel can best be described with the smooth plastic top and the slightly grainy bottom half. The grip is just fantastic where it should be. Even the joysticks feel stiff, and even after 16 hours of play straight from launch, sweaty fingers were never an issue. I should mention the Fotus Armor, which you can download. It may or may not be to your liking, but it's currently for sale on Ebay for over $100. I got $100 offers myself before getting my console through Revain (a Best Buy midnight launch party I attended with friends). If you're summing the console value, you'll need to input that into the equation. Spend $350 on it and you get two $50 controllers, a $100 armor skin, a $20 headset, a $60 game, a $200 console, and an $80 -Dollar hard drive with 320 GB. It costs $560 if you buy everything individually. Sell the controller and armor skin and you paid $200. Either way, it's a damn good deal. If you're looking for a match report from me, you won't find it here. There's too much to say and I'd sound totally biased towards Halo. This is the best? Well, that's a long way for me, but if you're looking at Halo Xbox, I doubt you've already made up your mind to buy the game. If you want a review that perfectly captures my feelings, go to IGN and watch the review video. So, to sum up my feelings on console, this isn't something Microsoft has in store for the holidays for people to spend their money on a remastered Xbox. with new stickers. This is Halo Xbox and the best value for money for those looking to buy their first Xbox console or to replace an old model. For parents reading this and trying to decide whether or not it's for their child, you're getting two SAME controllers (trust me I come from a big family with twins and dozens of nephews so I feel you in it) and WIFI built in, so no cables to the router. It's just a big plus that it's so quiet they don't have to yell at the console or turn up the TV volume or both. You only get one headset, but it's a standard Xbox headset that you can use anywhere. I hope this helps you decide anyway, but I love my game and I have no doubt that any Halo fan will love it.
