Review on 🎨 Welcome Painting Stencil Kit for Scrabble Letters Painting, Drawing, & Art Supplies by Kristen Reid

Exactly what I needed!

Absolutely obsessed! I've wanted to make my own Scrabble tiles for a long time but didn't want to spend $100 for 27 tiles. So I got these stencils and a 5.5" x 6' white pine wall for $6 from Lowes. It was aged gray and I sprayed it lightly with a matte white and immediately at the end of the spraying process gently sprayed it with a wiped dry paper towel to give it a seamless look As for the stencil, I pressed it down with my fingers and then used a permanent marker to outline it, then removed the stencil and filled in the inside of the letter with the marker out. At first I tried to draw but it didn't look clean, a marker is what it takes. I recommend writing down the number of letters you need for each letter and doing them all at once and them then cutting into squares with a handsaw. I am sooooo excited to see the results. Look just like the expensive ones for a fraction of the cost and it was a fun DIY project! I am planning to make them for F to give to family members as a gift!

Pros
  • Kit contains: 42 templates.
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
