Review on LG HBS SL6S Bluetooth Wireless Neckband by Cho Screeton

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Lightweight but missing key features

I read a lot of reviews and full descriptions before buying but I missed that it doesn't work very well on iPhone. Button configuration - press and hold the power button to turn it on or off; Volume buttons skip songs, but you have to hold them down to skip; The call button is also a power button. I preferred my old LG neck strap as it had a slide switch for power, a separate button to play music, a separate button to skip songs, a volume button that was just for volume, and a power button instead of a button. For example, when I get a call, the device disconnects from my iPhone even if I'm listening to music, so I have to pick up the phone to make calls. When I try to make a manual call, it gets disconnected as soon as I press the call button on my phone. I cannot use Siri through this device at all. Sometimes Google Maps goes to the speaker because the neckband detaches. The whole point of this neckband is making my workday hands-free, but I've had nothing but problems. The earbuds are tiny and difficult to fit in your ear. The retractable buds are nice and smooth, which works well. Do not get me wrong. The sound is great when I'm using it, but this device should be made more for Android or other phones because it hates my iPhone.
