Review on 6X6 Inch Neoprene Plumbing Material Protection by Jessie Drury

I wanted to store harsh solvents in some of these jars with Clips, but they ruined the natural rubber rings that keep the lids closed. Since nitrile/NBR is much more chemical resistant than natural rubber I figured I could use these sheets to make my own replacement rings. I've done it and so far they work much better than the originals. And the cream colored leaves are exactly the same color and thickness as the original rings, so you won't even notice the difference. Contrary to some reviewers, I couldn't detect any particular smell on them. If you get very close to them, they smell. Rubber. but that's all. The only minor issue I found is that the sheets have minor imperfections (dark streaks and creases); For my purposes it doesn't matter at all, but maybe there is a use case where this would be an issue.
