I'll start with the positive. The cable is strong and works well. Some reviews complained that the cable ties were difficult to use. This is great as far as I know because it means our pets can't open the end by twisting or turning while playing. Now for the cons. The vinyl coating is cheap, it cracks and breaks, leaks moisture and rusts on the cable. I had two of these cables last year and they both cracked the vinyl within a few weeks. I didn't notice the first one and moisture got in and the cable wore out and broke within a few months. I was lucky my young boxer didn't run away, he came to the door with one foot on the leash on his collar. The second does the same. I don't leave it for long either. He minds his own business and wants to go back home immediately so he won't be leashed for a long time. I will not buy this brand again.
