I don’t have a lot of experience with using a quill pen and ink for quill pens so it’s hard for me to provide much information on the quality. I will say that the glass pen was thin and easily breaks. Mine broke during first use. The feather pen did not break and seems to be holding up. I ordered and used this set for our wedding guest book. As I said earlier the glass one broke right away but the feather one held up. It seems like it’s a good set fir beginners but maybe it’s better to buy one without a glass handle. This glass handle quill pen is thin and breaks easily.
