I bought this for lounging, not after surgery or breastfeeding. Overall I like this very soft, silky material. It's so comfortable I forget I'm wearing a bra. But that's not the best support for someone with big breasts. It only provides a slight buoyancy to keep the girls in place. I usually have trouble finding an underwired bra that gives me support. Measurement wise I'm a 34hr UK size (34.5 under the bust, 42 at the widest part) and took 3x as I'm quite fat and wanted more girl material. I could go down 2x which is my normal size. Pros: The softest, silkiest material. Comfortable shoulder adjustment that can be removed when you need this nursing bra. Plastic metal parts are coated both inside and out to prevent rough metal or plastic from rubbing against you. The tiny hook detail in the zipper portion is a nice touch, but I wish it was a little bigger. Cons: a bit see through but I like the fabric for the bust area. The straps are made of soft material that was almost too soft so I wish it was thicker for the straps. May need 1-2 more shoulder slots to make it more snug for those of us who need more buoyancy.
