Roboportable Best in Portable AV

What is the life expectancy of plastic electronics in a concrete jungle? I think two to three years if you are lucky and very careful. This particular device is a poor man's mobile device that can take a lot of abuse, not to mention the regular bumps that the patented G Force should be able to withstand. I've taken this device down many of Bach's roads that are like the surface of the moon and it never missed a beat. As the Timex clock ticks and ticks, I mean the game. It looks like a laptop power generator and has more lives than the proverbial cat. Over the years I've dropped my device onto concrete many times only to have it rattle and find it playing on; except the last one. Eventually, after more than three years, it was demoted to a car simply because it no longer functions as a portable due to too many dents and bruises. This thing is a marvel of worn electronics, it glows bright red in the dark like it's calling you to stop. Batteries are an added bonus, they are easy and quick to charge. As usual, the phones are average or mediocre at best, but everything else works flawlessly. I recently had an issue with my car cassette deck, but I tend to think it's the car deck itself and not the portable one. You don't need a remote control unless you're a total laser gun that needs a device in your hand all the time. I tried using the remote control but found it a frivolous novelty and not very practical. This is a destruction of portable devices. With upgrading phones, it was sweet music to my ears before it was "broken".
