Review on Freein Explorer Inflatable Backpack Waterproof by Matthew Frandsen

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great value for money. Previously

**UPDATE** I contacted the manufacturer shortly after we had the issues detailed below and they were very quick to respond and help. They sent glue and 2 new packages. The new bags are better than the originals but still not as good as the ones I've seen. I also told them I lost my fin and asked how much a replacement would cost and they sent me 3 replacements for free. It's been a year since we bought them and only used them 5 or 6 times but everything was fine until yesterday we were at the lake and my kids were playing around and dropped the paddle and it was gone. Here you have "floating" oars. I'm not sure what happened because they swam before, but not this time, they are no more. We've spent quite a bit of time searching but to no avail. *Original Review* We are newbies and we love this board. We bought 2. We have only used it 2 times but we believe it will last a long time. The price was decent. The color is excellent. The quality of the board seems to be ok. The dry bag is a nice addition. Bungee and D rings are great. The bad side of anything accessories wise is the backpack is terrible, you have to use something else to pack your board. After 2 weeks and 2 uses the tape is torn and torn. The pump still works, but looks a bit cheap. The paddle seems fine. The tail kick on the larger board starts to peel off. I will contact the manufacturer to see what they will do with the pillow and bag. This board is not as stable as the description says, although it is good. I've been on more stable boards but they cost more. If price is an issue I would wholeheartedly recommend this board. I would recommend this board for children. When I'm done with this board I'll probably spend a little more on the next one.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No automatic controls
