I bought this camera because I needed another 1080P webcam and it was cheap. I have a Logitech C920 (also 1080p). In comparison, Wansview is not nearly as clear. Wansview delivers an overexposed image and performs very poorly in low light. I'm not even sure if it's really 1080P or a lower resolution sensor that scales. You can see sharp, jagged edges on diagonal lines that look smooth when recorded with Logitech. The fisheye effect is quite pronounced at the edges of the frame, enough to be distracting. The white balance is not adjustable and focusing is done by manually rotating the lens ring. There aren't even any stops. It spins endlessly, to the point where I was sure I had unscrewed the lens all the way and wasn't sure I could screw it in properly. If you're looking for a basic video chatting webcam where the lighting is good and you intend to just stay in the middle of the frame, this will do. If you're after something with autofocus, auto white balance, and sharp detail, this isn't the camera for you.
