I give 3 stars because the thread is shiny and silky. I was pleased with the packaging. I bought it on sale at half price. If I paid full price I would honestly return it. If we talk about the colors included, then I would give 2 stars. The colors shown do not reflect exactly what you will receive in my opinion. If you're looking for a choice of greens and browns, this might be for you. There are 5 coils in the pink family; However, if you want to embroider flowers, for example, and you want the flowers to be shaded as a real flower would be, you will have difficulties. There are lighter ones and darker ones but they don't go together if you get what I mean. I wanted to make roses and some other flowers and was hoping to lighten the edges of the petals and then fade to darker shades towards the center. However, this is not possible because, as I said, the color tones do not match. There are also many shades of beige, but some of them are so similar that they are almost identical. There are flowers of the same color or a bird that has all feathers of the same color (e.g. a solid yellow and then some black feathers) then you might find this useful. But if you're planning a project where you need multiple shades of the same color, forget it. I wouldn't order this again and wouldn't recommend it to friends unless they make solid color items. emoticons, solid roses, flowers of the same shade, inscriptions and the like; Simplified embroidery where you have an outline filled with a color. If you want to embroider a more realistic looking object in multiple shades of the same color family, unless the object is a shade of brown, forget about it. None of the other colors, be it red, blue, green, etc., have hues that mix.
