Lekeye vs. OXO Pop-Up Drain Cap Comparison

I don't review often, but I've spent some time with the two most popular pop-up drain caps ( OXO and Lekeye) and I wanted to share what I learned. Bottom Line: None of them are perfect, but I'm sticking with OXO. What I'm looking for: - works with a pop up drain (photo), TIE - stays in place during shower, TIE - catches my hair (long straight Caucasian hair), Lekeye gains a little - lets water through, Lekeye wins as long as no hair builds up (see details) - easy to clean, OXO wins by a wide margin Longer version: I first bought OXO for my new shower that I wanted to protect from hair clogging. I loved it but every time I showered there was soapy water at the end. This is because my hair would start plugging the bottom holes and there are NO HOLES ON THE BASE (photo). I've made it a habit to clean it and then give it a quick rinse in the shower with cold water EVERY TIME I've showered. It was good but I thought I could do better. That's why I bought Lekeye, because I saw that there were a lot more holes in the bottom of the lid. Because of this, it drains better than OXO, especially in the beginning. The problem is that the base is covered with small protrusions (photo) to catch hair. And he does a great job with it! The problem is that I have a hard time removing hair from lumps. So I kept my habit of cleaning every time, but every day there was a little more hair on the cover. So now it doesn't drain that well and gets pretty uncomfortable after a few days of use. Bottom line: If you're worried about your hair slipping, Lekeye is the "stickier" finish. However, my hair isn't particularly thick, and OXO grabs tons of hair. I'm not worried that much will pass. But in the end, since I need to clean both regularly, I opt for OXO, which washes quickly, and then you're done. I still can't get the fur off the Lekeye to clean. NOTE: I will vomit Lekeye when it's time to bathe my new pup! This might be important for some of you!
