Review on Black Elkay LKQD35BK Disposer Flange: Polymer with Removable Basket Strainer and Rubber Stopper by Ken Cudal

This item is not deep enough to be your only debris removal flange. Once you've installed the regular depth insinkerator pieces that hold the disposal unit in place, the retaining ring doesn't even come close to matching. I ended up using Insinkerator parts for the recycle connection. Once this is done a rubber grommet will appear on the underside of the Elkay part and you can press it firmly against the insinkerator flange. It's very tight and doesn't leak like the old Elkay versions. I love that it matches the color of the bowl so I'm not sending it back.
