I have a 54g corner tank that has been refitted with live rock and aragonite from a rebuilt tank. Was able to get a quick handle on my water other than phosphate. Months later my coral and fish were thriving and didn't seem to notice, but I was concerned about elevated phosphate levels after many, many water changes. I used the phosphate control at a reduced dose and my levels dropped from 1.0 to 0.5 overnight. I left it for a week, redosed and done to the mark. This material fogs up the water when applied, but clears up again after a few hours. When it cleared it also clogged my 20 micron pre-filter sock. I suspect it was the chemical bond with the phosphate that caused this. My corals are mostly soft and have shown no side effects and my fish were also unaffected after the initial WTF from the cloud. This stuff works and goes a long way, although it's a bit pricey.
