I can't deny - I had high hopes for the Ebanel Retinol kit. As someone with sensitive skin, I'm always on the lookout for products that can give me a radiant complexion without causing irritation. While the kit did provide noticeable results, I can't say that I was completely blown away. Let's start with the positives. Both the moisturizer and serum contain retinol at a 2.5% strength. This ingredient is a game-changer when it comes to reducing fine lines, wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation. I could definitely see a reduction in the appearance of my wrinkles after using both products for a few weeks. Additionally, my skin felt smoother, and my complexion looked brighter. However, the negatives can't be ignored. While the moisturizer and serum are labeled as "gentle", I did experience a bit of tingling and redness after using them. It wasn't unbearable, but it was definitely noticeable. Additionally, I didn't love the texture of the moisturizer - it felt a bit heavy on my skin and didn't absorb as well as I would have liked. Overall, I'd give the Ebanel Retinol Kit 3 stars. While it did provide visible improvements in my skin, the tingling and lackluster texture prevented it from being a complete game-changer for me.
