I have to say I love how clean these bristles make me feel. They are very long and soft, but clean the skin surprisingly well. It's not like cleaning yourself, it's more like using a bath towel. It is unusual in that it is gentle enough to cleanse even the ears and face, but powerful enough to perfectly smooth the skin and improve circulation. It goes without saying that this thing is absolutely adorable. I would add that I like the design as the loop is positioned so that when you hang the scrubber it tilts a bit to keep the soap from spilling out from under the floor. seems well done. It feels soft and smooth, there are no roughnesses. The lid has metal inside, but I'm not sure why. It's probably some kind of pressure control or something. I'm giving it one star because the lid is a bit difficult to handle. It has a very short, smooth little tongue that you can grab, making it difficult to get a good grip. To open this thing you have to twist and pull this cover and my hand slipped off it several times. I would recommend making the tab a little bigger and adding some texture to it. In addition, the lid is difficult to put back on after filling the scrubber. The secret is to insert the cap from all sides and THEN screw it tight by turning. If you try to rotate it by pushing inward, it may not seat properly. Once attached, it closes completely and won't come loose until you intentionally remove it. You can just apply it to your skin and squeeze well and some of the soap will come out. Then move the scrubber around and it lathers up well, spreading the soap and massaging your skin. If your soap doesn't come out when you squeeze the scrubber, or if it's difficult to get out, add some water to the soap to thin it out a bit. I love that it's silicone, so it's easy to clean, dries quickly and is unlikely to get mold or any other nasties. You don't have to empty it between uses either. Mine is currently mostly full of shampoo and just hanging in the tub waiting for me to use it again. I'm glad I have it. It makes a noticeable difference to my skin and feels great when I use it. I'd also love to see a scrubber companion like this but with a handle on the back for accessing those hard to reach spots, especially if it were a cute little buddy to keep that one company in the tub.
