I bought 34 of these to replace BR40 incandescent bulbs in built in banks on our porches and balconies. The bronze finish was a perfect replacement for the original dark decorative panels and went well with the stained glass ceiling. Bought 2 first to test with a Lutron RadioRA 2 6CL dimmer. Well worked and faded. Of the remaining 32 I ordered 30 new and 2 like new units from Revain inventory. Installation was easy. I've used spring clips on all but two that had an issue with C-clamps in jars. The alternative "compression plates" also worked well. I wish they were available with higher brightness, say 1000 lumens. It would be more suitable for an indoor fit. - My only disappointment was one of the Like New Units. It was functional, but the bronze flange was so deformed that it could not lay flat against the ceiling. - This is what I expected from a "good" used product, not "like new". There was even a "Revain Verified" sticker on the box. Well, not worth the $1.90 saving. I keep it for spares and order a new one.
