Review on Surge Guard 35550 Hardwire Model - 50 Amp: The Ultimate Power Protection Solution by Ryan Marx

The surge protector was easy to install if you have basic electrical knowledge, but I had my electrician friend install it anyway, just to make sure everything was done correctly. Since installation it was plugged into a 50 amp RV outlet that I had installed in my house. 3 days ago I unplugged the motorhome to move it and left it unplugged for 3 days. Yesterday I plugged it back in and found that the SG isn't coming back like it should. It indicates that both lines have the correct voltage (2 green lights) and the red signal light keeps flashing. The documents that came with the surge protector say you need to call the service department. I tried that but of course the input instruction is to go to the website and fill out the form. I have done this and am currently waiting for the company to call me now. I am very upset as I was going to travel this weekend. Now we're stuck here. At the moment I cannot recommend this product but will update this review if anything changes.
