The same type of memory that HP uses in the new laptop
I recently bought an HP 15-ay052nr laptop with only 4GB RAM. I opened it up and it had an empty slot. The other slot had the same Hynix DDR4 module. I ordered this and it works great. Some HP documents and shop info said the laptop used DDR3 memory, but the box the laptop came in said it was DDR4 and the chip inside was DDR4 too. I think only 8GB might be the maximum the laptop can use.
