It's great I highly recommend it. I had trouble finding pictures of these, even on the manufacturer's website, so I uploaded a few. It's pretty heavy, but for you, it's ceramic. I have a photo of coffee beans in a 12 or 16 ounce can. I believe it was a 16 ounce can. The lid closes well and keeps the beans fresh. I've had the container for about 3 months now and it has proven itself very well. I'm not worried about durability. And if you are interested, you can remove the cord on the lid if you don't like it and simply pull the lid by the handle.
