Beautiful colour. Elegant shape. Doesn't work as advertised. The top slides up and down. Doesn't hold a seal. And the coffee spreads everywhere when the top is removed. I will return it and replace it with something really working.

For $8.99 this is a good deal. This kit pours well, but there are two problems: 1. The pouring cone is plastic and looks cheap. And the glass pot really thinks the glass will break easily.2. The filling cone has a strange shape. I've tried using Hario filter paper, Walmart filter paper, Mellitic cone filter paper, but none of the filter papers work.

It's great I highly recommend it. I had trouble finding pictures of these, even on the manufacturer's website, so I uploaded a few. It's pretty heavy, but for you, it's ceramic. Good concept but I agree with all the other reviews. I like spaciousness. This actually holds a full 16 ounces of ground coffee, which seems to be a problem for many canisters. I also like the material - good solid construction. Otherwise, the thing leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered 2 pieces - one for coffee and one without caffeine. The lid fits snugly and snugly at the very top and bottom of the can, but because the can expands a few inches down about 1/8"-1/4", the lids "float" when the Cans are mostly empty. . I received these and was immediately impressed by the weight of the ceramic canister. I washed the container and lid before putting the coffee in and made sure they were completely dry before adding the coffee beans. Then I put the lid on and it literally fell from the top of the can onto the beans. NO PRESSURE! Without sealing, it is impossible to preserve the freshness of the coffee beans.
