Poor fan placement is best for laptop accessories
The fans are placed right in the middle of the cooling pad. This is a problem because most laptops have vents that face upwards, so the fans mostly blow into the closed plastic shell. And the fan blades are quite small, so the wind doesn't reach the vent too well. You really have to slide your laptop down (so it sticks out of the lining) to keep it cool.
