and plastic floats. For some reason this raft gets mildew and mold stains like no other raft. In one season (Texas, long bathing season) the whole raft gets black mold. I've tried soap and water with a soft brush (as recommended) - nothing worked. I used a mixture of detergent, borax and chlorine spray with a brass wire brush - it eventually came off but there are still stains on the rim near the zipper. My only other method might be pressure washing, but I'm afraid it might tear the fabric. We rinsed it out and pulled it out to dry after each use so it didn't sit in the water for mold to grow and the pool water always maintained a chemical balance. Something is wrong with the fabric and needs to be fixed.
