Not so bad. I bought this compass and attached it to my dashboard. It shows the direction I'm going/going, but not always the exact direction. Sometimes it shows OK. But sometimes it is NOT. As I was driving Highway 405 (when north is clearly shown on Google Maps and Government Atlas Maps), this compass shows WNW (West-Northwest). As I drove down East Road (which points due east on both Google and National Geographic maps), this compass showed ESE (East-South-East). - In other words, this compass has an error of 22.5 degrees 50% of the time. (Halftime) So I give this review 3 stars. It's not a perfect product, but it's not that bad. Sometime it's good. Sometimes doesn't work. Just make your own decision.
