Review on Heavy Duty Round Boot Laces For Work Boots And Hiking Shoes - 1/8" Diameter, 1 Pair By Miscly by Keith Martin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

nice thin 1/8” boot laces

These Miscly Thin Round Boot Laces are true to their measurements, 1/8” diameter and 54”. And they’re very nice. These aren’t an exact match for the color and diameter of the ones they’re replacing, but they’re for a well-worn (or worn-out) pair of Columbia Low-Cut Cross-Terrain hikers that are my housework and cooking shoes. So they’ll do, and will likely outlast my use of the shoes. I measured the original laces, and had it in my mind that 4.5 mm was too thick, but now I see that’s what the old ones were. I’m never going to wear these shoes out, except for yardwork, so they’ll work just fine. But they’re a quality weave, and a nice pattern, and I recommend them for purchase.

Pros
  • Very thin laces. Not full sized in thickness.
Cons
  • The laces may be difficult to tie and untie compared to thinner laces, which could be frustrating for those in a hurry
