Cheaply made. Destroyed after a slight fall at 10-15mph. The sole has been completely ripped off the boot. The leg was protected from the rash but the ankle was still injured, a $100 waste. Spend the extra money and buy a nice pair of Alpine Stars or Dainese. Or, like me, spend $100.00 to get started (they're still better than tennis shoes) and save up for a good pair. I ride an Alpine Star SuperTourer GTX and I can tell you these Joe Rockets were a failed attempt to replicate something equally great. Day and night excel in durability, ankle support, comfort, style, functionality and much more. what next please let me know. Hope this helps someone.
