Bought for me and my husband. We use them for small everyday tasks like opening eyeglass cleaning cloths, denture cleaning tablets, envelopes, spice packs, etc. Any small item that is difficult for arthritic hands/fingers to tear works great. You don't have to force them, and whatever finger(s) are affected by arthritis I seem to be able to work with it. I also see them work well for those with large hands like my husband. With ordinary scissors, it's difficult for him, and since you're just holding them (there are no holes to squeeze your fingers in), there are no problems. Good value for money and no hassles.
