Review on 3-in-1 Stainless Steel Candle Accessory Gift ๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ Pack: Candle Snuffer, Wick Trimmer & Wick Dipper by Kathleen Ledoux

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works as expected, even on small tea lights. Good quality.

Last month we had frequent power outages in our house, so we used candles a lot. I had issues with the wicks dipping into liquid wax and then solidifying so they couldn't ignite. I also wanted to find a way to blow out the candles without blowing the wax all over the place. I have found that this SmallDot Candle Accessory Pack has both plus a wick trimmer which I will never use. I just let the wick burn off the excess. This will create some smoke, so if you want to avoid that, these scissors will come in handy. I tried them and they easily cut the fuse as they are long and the cutting part is angled. All three parts are long and made of metal, which makes it very durable and doesn't feel cheap at all. The wick extractor/digger worked well, digging into the wax and lifting the wick. There is a small bell at the end of the snuff (not a ratchet of course) and it is on a loop to allow it to move freely. Other snuffers I've looked at are stationary, but I think they're easier to use this way as they're always at a good angle. I was worried it would be too big for my small tealights, but it's great for putting out both small and large candles. All of this comes in a gray storage bag. I couldn't find any downsides to using scissors or a bucket with a wick. The only downside to using a candle sniffer instead of blowing out the candle is that the bell has to sink into the wax to create a seal and put out the candle, so you have to get hot wax on the bell and put it somewhere out, e.g. B. on a countertop until it cools no more, or wipe with a paper towel. It's still better than bringing his face to an open fire and squirting hot wax. This is the biggest issue with the experience the product is pretty much flawless and I would highly recommend it to anyone who uses candles. 5/5 stars
