Fits my 2001 Silverado 5.3 Z71 1500. I put an old radiator drain valve in it. I bought it from Pep Boys so I could connect the drain hose when draining. The transcooler connections from the old cooler fit the new one. The case leaves a gap on the left and right. After installing the cooler I had to fix this and that. That's always the case when you pack things that are made differently into a vehicle. Much more cooling capacity compared to what happened. Don't forget that you will need more coolant and distilled water. Or another premix. UPDATE: I had to make a restrictive adjustment for the line to bleed air into the tank. Too much coolant ran into the reservoir, essentially bypassing the thermostat, causing the engine to catch fire due to the low coolant temperature. The OEM radiator has a choke hole deep inside where this hose connects. I made a shaft out of round aluminum bar, drilled it, went to the same hole size as the OEM, welded the JB in place - the radiator pipe. Now it works great. Rating to 3 stars.
