Well I admit I'm the first in line to try the latest and greatest hair products. And as a mom, I'm always looking for ways to save time. When I first discovered this straightening brush I was a bit skeptical after trying similar products in the past. The little instruction manual that came with it was written in horribly broken English, but the rectifier was pretty self-explanatory so there wasn't much need for it. After connecting the rectifier, press the power button to turn it on, and then adjust the temperature accordingly. I have thick hair so I started with the hottest setting. My hair was wavy from being air dried the night before so again I wasn't expecting miracles. I straighten the lower part of the section. The "bristles" are actually heated grooves that the hair slides through. I started at the lower levels and worked my way up. The results were amazing! My hair became smooth and straight in just a few minutes. I was worried it would frizz from the humidity when I went outside, but it stayed smooth.
