Review on πŸŽ’ BV Strap-On Bike Saddle Bag: Enhanced Seat Bag for Cycling by Bobby Frazier

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Excellent design and finish, highly recommend

I'm not surprised that this bike saddle bag has such good reviews (I wasn't wrong). The bag comes in three sizes, in this review I will only address the large size. Good: Sturdy construction. There are no obvious flaws or potential sources of error. - Large room. I was able to install (without using an extension): -Multitool -CO2 cartridge and adapter -Spare hose -Two wheel levers -Latex gloves with patch kit and link -2 Rock Bars -Concealed carry (Sig Sauer P238) My car keys and my phone, but that would be the limit without enlargement. - Inside hook and mesh for keys. An extra layer of security. - Simple attachment mechanism. - Slim profile - protrudes no further than even a narrow seat. You'll have to cut and re-sew if you want it to attach firmly to the seatpost. - There is a horizontal strap on the back for attaching a flashlight. Most lights are mounted horizontally as they usually go around the seat tube. So I had to attach my light to the side. An additional vertical strap over the horizontal strap solves this problem. The bag will sway from side to side, but that is inevitable. I don't think it matters while driving. The only way to avoid this is to use an inner frame to allow the seat belt to be fully tightened. Without a frame, the bag simply collapses by itself. When traveling it can be a good idea to fully tighten the strap and allow the bag to compress on the contents to minimize swaying. Conclusion: The bag is great and absolutely recommendable. As a manufacturer, I would suggest including my two recommendations (seat tube strap length and rear vertical strap) for future iterations of this great product. Until the manufacturer implements the recommendations, the driver can always take the bag to a sewing shop and have it altered for a few dollars. Corner.
