Review on Clear and Flexible Aquarium Airline Tubing by Penn Plax - Resists Kinking, 25 Feet Standard by Alicia White

I first ordered this tube in 2014 and this "batch" worked as expected. I saved the list of products to one of my wish lists and when I ordered the second batch I went back to the same list I ordered the first time thinking I would get the same pipe. The tube on my second order (December 2015) was not the same. The first had a "cloudy" appearance and stretched, so when I put it on my "nipples" on my rock etc, it not only opened but squeezed the nipples once they were there and they held in place. The tubing on my second order was clear and made of a harder material. I've had a hell of a time putting it on the rocks (plastic nipples) but couldn't get it on any of the metal nipples I've tried it on, even after applying lube. Realizing I couldn't use it I went back to the rock where I adjusted it to remove it and it just popped out with very little effort. It seemed that the lack of stretch prevented him from holding on to the stone nipple. I ended up throwing it away and found some "silicone" tubes elsewhere which appear to be the ones I got the first time. Based on the two types of whistles I received from the same list, who knows what type each review is? My first batch got 5 stars, the second only 1.
