Loose guts - a bad batch?

Adapter serves its purpose. However, everyone in the pack has problems connecting to different devices: many PCs, smart TVs, tablets, Wii, Wii U. I do not recommend this product as constant reconnections generate false positives from unformatted SD cards that reset the entire drive . Can't tell if this is just a bad batch of chips or if the product itself is poorly made overall.
