If your connector in your laptop is defective
My charger input is broken in my HP Envy x360. I pulled it out with a small needle nose pliers and bought this charger to replace it. My original plug was bent at an angle for some reason, making it difficult to charge my computer. The socket on this charger is straight and the charger is much lighter. So far, so good.
