Despite the name, straws can break. My 5 year old clipped one. I bought these to replace the bitten straws we used for our drinking glasses. For $50, that's a good price. I like two brushes. They are thicker to really get rid of the straw. The draw stop at the bottom of the straw is hollow and can be a bit tricky to clean if something gets stuck in there. I wish it was solid, but for the price and quantity I can afford to lose a few if they can't be erased in this area. Otherwise I am very happy with them. Children love colors and everyone can get the color they like. If I need more I will probably buy the same set again.
