I've read reviews of these cases saying how hot the Msata drive can get. I've also seen some adapters that were open but twice the price. Since I installed it on my desktop behind the motherboard panel (no direct cooling), I wanted to make sure it stayed cool. So I took the top of the case to the power drill and cut about 20 large holes in it. Maybe you just couldn't use the top case, but whatever. It was the cheapest case I could find and seemed reliable. I was able to salvage a 256gb msata drive from a dying laptop and use it on my desktop for a reasonable price. 5/5
