Sturdy construction but more like slider-sized hamburgers.
Out of the box this looks like a quality device that will stand the test of time. I love that it includes cut stacking/freezing paper. However, after cooking, I was disappointed with the size of the burgers. I usually oversize my burgers to account for shrinkage. As a result, they turned out to be smaller than the size of a bun. I think this press would be perfect if it was about an inch larger in diameter.
