When I bought this speaker set for my 128I I was wondering if it could improve the sound? Well, that's how it was. They are made to a higher standard than the factory. Heavier and larger magnets. The fit in the car is perfect, plug and play. When I replaced the rears I noticed the biggest change, they could be the only ones in the car and it would be nice to play alone. Definitely an improvement. The only thing is that they are a bit less efficient as they don't play as loud as the originals by maybe 10%, but the quality improves by a big margin. Costs money. Next for me is the woofer.
