This is a great and compact pen for so many tools. I hang it on a work cord. I bought two different tactical pens without knowing which one to choose. This makes it bigger and more compact! Disadvantage #1 is that the flashlight has to be unscrewed and removed to use the stylus as a cap. I personally prefer the extendable handle. However, this is a personal preference. I think it's a great tool to carry around in the car, at work, in your purse or pocket. Update: 09/2021 Battery didn't last long. Comes with 2 extra batteries for the flashlight. However, when the first died the other two, kept at home in their original packaging, corroded and weren't good when I needed them. I have not been able to contact the company about this order so please replace these batteries. In fact, I used a flashlight most of the time as it was a low light option perfect for obliquely lighting small area crime scenes.
