My six year old son loves to throw a foam puck in this net. I don't find him stupid at all. It folds easily to take with you on Thanksgiving. Nothing makes a grandma more nervous than indoor hockey! This goal is not very suitable for older children. It is smaller and ideal for children aged five to eight. (In my opinion). It comes with a motion-sensitive horn (wish it was a little louder) that still works well after a few months, and a sturdy, adjustable plastic wand. If you are using this indoors I recommend making this the perfect gift for a child. We bought the Proguard Foam Puck here at Revain. Much better than a ball! My son has been using it on our hardwood floor for a few months now and the foam cleaner still looks great. There are no styrofoam chips in it. It hits the net pretty hard but soft enough not to break anything. I wouldn't recommend a foam washer for outdoors as a concrete driveway will likely gobble them up pretty quickly.
