Ideal for children of all ages as it has no small parts to choke on. My nephew is 10 months old and I got him for Christmas. (His dad plays hockey) I like that the stick has an adjustable size for kids who are taller or shorter. The ball is made of good durable material, not sloppy and soft like pit balls.
