Ideal for children of all ages as it has no small parts to choke on. My nephew is 10 months old and I got him for Christmas. (His dad plays hockey) I like that the stick has an adjustable size for kids who are taller or shorter. The ball is made of good durable material, not sloppy and soft like pit balls. So I suggest being careful but I just love that we can be rough with him or if my nephew accidentally steps on him he doesn't leave a dent. Contrary to other reviews, I think the stick is a good material. . Yes, it's not the best, but then again, it's a kid's toy. My son-in-law, who plays holy ice hockey, actually fell more in love with this toy than with a child 😂😂 and even with his strength the stick holds. Hasn't broken yet. When you break your stick. then you gotta play real damn hard. We all love this toy! My nephew shouts and takes us to him so he can play. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the upstairs light making the noise is kinda crappy. Bit to make the light and beep. Besides that. This toy is approved by my nephew, his mother and father, me and the rest of my family. We really like how much joy it has brought to the child in the house. SN: I bought it for $20, which I thought was a lot. There are a lot smaller toys that cost more, so I liked that price point. It arrived early too! Revane said it would arrive after Christmas but it arrived on the 24th so I was very excited about that. I definitely recommend it.
