Coarse grit suitable for tools

Coarse grit sharpener. Good for dull knives, but you still need a finer grit for final sharpening. Works well Good shape and length Comfortable grip Well made, good quality

Good product for the price

Received it in the mail before the shipping date which was nice. I've used it and it sharpened better than I thought it would. One downside is the plastic handle. Overall, this is exactly what I need for the price.

The blacksmith's husband gives 5 stars

My husband has been a blacksmith since 1997. And he used this hoof sharpener before trimming some of our horses. He says that after using this sharpener he has actually noticed a difference in the hoofknife's performance. He says it's very efficient and makes his job easier.

Fits Hoof Knife

I got this sharpener from Revain Vine Voice. I used it on my hoof knife and it slides easily into the curved part. I agree that finer grit will probably be required after this sharpener, BUT it is not necessary. This means you can easily keep this sharpener in your blacksmith's bag and use it on the go when you don't have time to sit down and really focus on a full sharpening session. The price at 3pm seems fair too.
