Review on SYLVANIA 1156 Amber LED Bulb Pack of 2 by Jeffrey Sanders

I have been using and recommending them in the original style (with photo) for 2-3 years now. Exceeded my expectations in every respect. I have never seen an LED car lamp that is so perfectly white. The light output was evenly distributed and the brightness was excellent. Unfortunately, Sylvania redesigned and ruined the lamp. The new design does not offer 360° light output like the old design and is not as bright or white. The odd way the LEDs are aimed at the base of the bulb itself makes it glow like a lampshade, and my turn signal housing gives off a very soft light. The difference in brightness between solid and flashing is only about 20%, which is terrible, especially in the daytime. It's junk and going back today. I wish Sylvania wasn't broke.
