Review on Kestrel Sports Plastic Bundle Discs by Don Devine

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Decent set, but the discs only last a few turns when played in the jungle.

Nice disc golf set, good for beginners but definitely not the most durable. My driver flew great for the first few laps but after hitting some trees he became very unstable and I lost him by throwing him over a fence as he turned right in a direction he wasn't going before had driven. The yellow centers warped badly for me after hitting a tree about 20 feet from the tippad, and despite my best efforts, I couldn't bend it back to its original shape. If you are a true beginner who has never played disc golf and does not intend to play on courses with lots of trees and obstacles then this is a good starter set. If you want to play disc golf regularly and on courses with lots of trees, you need better synthetics, especially for the driver. The case is a good addition to other similar starter kits if you are looking for an easy case to carry your discs. About 8 discs fit comfortably in this bag.
