It was nice to get two for the price of one but I think you really do get what you pay for. My main issue with them was that not every one of them connected randomly. I would have to turn the collar device off and on again for it to work. This really isn't a good feature if you're training a dog and need reliability in your tools. I would test this with the horn button and keep pressing the button, but nothing happened until I turned it off and on again. This can happen multiple times in 30 minutes. Sleep mode is more of a personal preference, but I didn't really enjoy pressing the button twice. I feel this introduces delays which is not ideal for training a dog who ideally learns better the quicker you notice good behavior. I will keep it as a backup but I had to buy another one. Also, the fact that there are 99 different levels seems great in concept, but it's quite a hassle to press tons of the up or down button to get to the right level. My replacement has only 7 different levels and it is much easier and faster to get to the level. I've never tried a range on it because I just don't think it won't suddenly stop working, but when I was training at home it worked from different rooms. But I live in a small apartment, so take it as you will. There are better ones but if you have two dogs and are on a budget I think they will do. This is the only situation where I see them work well.
