It worked great as a portable secondary display for my 2015 Macbook Pro. I just plugged in the USB-C cable and it recognizes the screen with no issues. The colors rendered are accurate enough for my MBP screen, so I have complete confidence in video editing on this display. It should be noted that the default display brightness level is 10 and always resets to 10 after the monitor is turned off. So I have to change the brightness to my liking every time, which is a bit cumbersome. Touchscreen capabilities for Mac are somewhat lacking. You have to move the mouse over the touch screen to use the touch functions properly. Touchscreen tracking is excellent in everything but the edge of the screen. The touch click is also a bit sensitive. If you're using full brightness on the screen, I've found that you can't just bus-power this display. Therefore you need to connect it to the wall. I leave HDR on because I find it to be most accurate for colors when running on my Macbook. The impeccable and well-organized packaging includes all the necessary cables. which is very convenient. It was easy to get this display working right away. The display easily fits in my backpack and helps me with work presentations when traveling. I also like that the display has VESA mounts, so it would be useful for a small desk, especially if you want the display to work in portrait mode. So if all you want is a decent portable display, I don't think you can go wrong with this one!
