Update: I have had this machine for almost a year now. I still love him the same. Still strong; Make at least 2 lattes a day. I really wanted to solve the problem that some people have of the car eventually leaking. This WILL happen when you get a mineral buildup. I had that with my machine too. Remedy: Either buy mineral-dissolving tablets or add 1/2 cup of vinegar to a full tank of water every month or two and run it through a few times. Then just skip some clean water to rinse. Make sure you turn on the espresso button and open the steamer to clean that too. :) Original review. After addressing my $5-7 a day latte habit, I decided it was time to seek help. This little car showed up on my doorstep about 2 weeks ago and I haven't been to a coffee shop since! It's compact with a retro style and cuts a fine figure on the road. It makes a decent espresso (for a beginner like me who has never made it) and the more I experiment and learn, the better it gets. I bought a cheap coffee grinder and some good beans and I was in a bargain! The steamer/frother exceeded my expectations in every way and I have no problem getting a very hot latte which I love! No, I don't have an expensive car to compare. I haven't developed top barista skills, but I think this is the best place to start. Form meets function at an affordable price. I have no plans to upgrade to a more powerful machine and even if it fails after 6 months I wouldn't complain and replace it with the same machine. It has saved me a lot of money and time and has become one of my favorite things to do!
