This is my favorite cauldron; surprisingly not that easy to find a great kettle. After the water boils, simply pull the handle and the spout will open. Nothing can break and unnecessary pieces of rubber do not fall off. It is durable and attractive to look at. The only thing you have to do is drain the water at the end of the day and dry the inside of the kettle. Stainless steel will rust over time. This is a kettle that will last. The only reason I had to replace it was because a friend used it and left water in the kettle for a few days which is not a good idea because it's rusty. I'm so glad I found this brand again at Revain because I've tried 3 other teapots and returned until I found them again. I can't say anything negative about this brand and the kettle and I use it every day.
