I have a 2012 Camaro and this thing fits perfectly on the LEFT side of the rear view mirror. I use it to hold my iPhone SE so I can view Google Maps while driving without taking my eyes off the road. The jaws open wide enough to accommodate much larger phones, but at the same time it holds my smaller phone well. The clips hold tight enough that it doesn't move at all while driving - even on rough roads. One recommendation I would give is if you have a subcompact or compact car this might be too long for you. I would check the measurements and make sure it doesn't get too close to your face if you have a smaller machine. It's very adjustable, but only up to a point. Overall a great smartphone holder!
